Unusually Shaped Teeth (Uncommon)
Includes tusks, saber teeth, backward-facing teeth, serrated teeth, multiple rows of teeth, abnormally shaped teeth, etc. (does not include the fangs of venomous types or a slight under/overbite.)
Alligator Spines (Uncommon)
Double, triple, or more spines along the back.
Unicorn Horn (Uncommon)
Adds an extra horn in the middle of the head. The shape can vary.
Thorny Scales [Mut] (Uncommon)
Creates thorny, spiked scales that are not present in the snake inspiration. (non-viper snakes)
Sugar Glider (Uncommon)
Can either present as a thin membrane stretching between a serptail’s limbs, or a detached wing-like membrane similar to that of a gliding lizard.
Small Extra Horns (Uncommon)
Adds a very small set of horns before or after the main set.
Iridescence [Mut] (Uncommon)
Adds iridescence to Serptails that is absent from their snake inspiration.
Plated Scales (Uncommon)
Heavy, overlapping scales that resemble armor. It can cover the spine, legs, neck, and tail.
Unusual Ears (Uncommon)
Includes ears that extend past the shoulder, folded ears, floor-dragging ears, double or split ears, absence of external ears, and very abnormally shaped ears.
Tail Growths (Uncommon)
Includes any addition to the tip of the tail not present in the snake inspirations (ex: spades, spikes, clubs, shapes). Rattle growths are NOT allowed.
Gecko Paws (Uncommon)
Adds Sticky paw pads/palms resembling that of a gecko. Allows for extreme climbing abilities through the pads’ suction.
Extra Eyes (Rare)
Adds extra eyes which can be anywhere on the body and do not have to match the main pair.
Bioluminescence (Rare)
Adds glowing markings or components to a design.
Large Extra Horns (Rare)
Adds one or more extra pairs of horns before or after the main set, which are mid-to-large sized. These extra horns do not have to match the main set exactly, but should still be standard shaped.
Unusual Horn Shape (Rare)
Any horn shape that does not follow type standards, including antlers, split, branched, and others.
Unusual Tail Shape (Rare)
Any tail shape that does not follow species standards, including shaped tails or those resembling another animal (does not include furry or feathered tails). Examples include shark tails, gecko tails, or other assorted animal tails.
Spare Parts (Epic)
Allows for extra body parts, including:
- Limbs
- Tails
- Heads
- Mouths
The "Spare Parts" mutation applies to one part at a time. For example, you can have six limbs but not six limbs and three heads. You must have an additional mutation slot to have the extra heads.
Plant Growth (Epic)
Adds plants or fungi that grow from the serptail’s body. For standard plant growth, the foliage cannot cover more than half of the serptail. Standard plant growth cannot replace limbs with plants. The plants must be real.
