Traits
Gecko Paws (Uncommon)
Adds Sticky paw pads/palms resembling that of a gecko. Allows for extreme climbing abilities through the pads’ suction.
Extra Eyes (Rare)
Adds extra eyes which can be anywhere on the body and do not have to match the main pair.
Bioluminescence (Rare)
Adds glowing markings or components to a design.
Large Extra Horns (Rare)
Adds one or more extra pairs of horns before or after the main set, which are mid-to-large sized. These extra horns do not have to match the main set exactly, but should still be standard shaped.
Unusual Horn Shape (Rare)
Any horn shape that does not follow type standards, including antlers, split, branched, and others.
Unusual Tail Shape (Rare)
Any tail shape that does not follow species standards, including shaped tails or those resembling another animal (does not include furry or feathered tails). Examples include shark tails, gecko tails, or other assorted animal tails.
Spare Parts (Epic)
Allows for extra body parts, including:
- Limbs
- Tails
- Heads
- Mouths
The "Spare Parts" mutation applies to one part at a time. For example, you can have six limbs but not six limbs and three heads. You must have an additional mutation slot to have the extra heads.
Plant Growth (Epic)
Adds plants or fungi that grow from the serptail’s body. For standard plant growth, the foliage cannot cover more than half of the serptail. Standard plant growth cannot replace limbs with plants. The plants must be real.
Gem Growth (Epic)
Adds gems that grow from the serptail’s body. The gems should cover less than half of the serptail. Limbs cannot be replaced by gems with standard gem growth.
Unusual Horn Material (Epic)
The serptail’s horns are made from a nonstandard material (ex: gems, rocks, wood, metal, glass, goo, glowy, candy, etc.) "Unusual Horn Material" may apply to all of the keratin on the Serptail, including claws and spines.
Extreme Plant Growth (Myth)
Plant growth that covers 50% or more of the serptail or replaces a body part (ex: a limb made from wood or vines). Can ONLY be real plants.
Extreme Gem Growth (Myth)
Gem growth that covers 50% or more of the serptail or replaces a body part.
Exposed Skeleton (Myth)
Parts of the serp’s skeleton are either on the outside and visible over the scales (similar to an exoskeleton), or the serp has areas of only bone and nothing else. NO gore/meat/blood is present with the exposed skeleton mutation.
Glass (Myth)
The serptail’s skin is see-through in areas (usually the underbelly), similar to a glass frog, with organs and/or bones visible inside. The serp is still solid; Only its skin is see-through. It can work similarly to an X-ray. The mutation does not mean literal glass.
Unusual Scale Material (Myth)
Scales are fully or partially made from a non-standard material (ex: slime, metal, wood, stone,etc.).
Unusual Innards (Myth)
The serptail’s flesh, mouth, and innards are made from nonstandard materials (goo, candy, magma, etc.).
